Along with providing the facility of tweet in 10 thousand characters, Elon Musk has also launched the Creators Content Monetization feature. Under content monetization, only creators will earn for 12 months and after that Elon Musk will have to share the earnings. Users will be able to take money from their followers in exchange for their content.

Currently, creators can subscribe to their content at monthly prices of $2.99 ​​(Rs 244), $4.99 (Rs 407) and $9.99 (Rs 816). As per Twitter’s rules, creators must be at least 18 years old, have 10,000 active followers and tweet at least 25 times in the last 30 days to be eligible for monetization.

Currently, Twitter’s monetization program has gone live for the US. It will soon be released for other countries including India. The new monetization feature is similar to Twitter’s Super Follows program launched in 2021. Elon Musk has added text formatting separately to the new program.
